Tigreal's playstyle revolves around being the primary initiator and protector for his team. Given his high durability, you should always be at the forefront, scouting for opportunities to engage. Utilize your passive, Fearless, by taking basic attack damage or using skills before a major engagement to ensure you have a shield ready to block incoming attacks, making you even harder to kill. This is especially useful when diving turrets or engaging enemy marksmen, allowing you to absorb critical damage.
Your main objective is to set up kills for your damage dealers. Look for opportunities to use Sacred Hammer (Skill 2) to push enemies into your team's range or against walls. The second activation of Sacred Hammer, which knocks enemies airborne, is crucial for locking down key targets. Combine this with Flicker to surprise enemies, dragging them into an unfavorable position for them. This combo is Tigreal's bread and butter for initiating fights and isolating high-priority targets, creating a perfect window for your allies to unleash their damage.
Timing your ultimate, Implosion, is critical. It's best used after you've positioned yourself to catch multiple enemies, often following a Sacred Hammer charge. Remember that the first half of its channeling can be interrupted, so try to use it when enemies are already CC'd or when you're sure they can't interrupt you. The massive stun and pull effect can win team fights outright by grouping enemies for your allies' area-of-effect abilities. Use Attack Wave (Skill 1) to slow down fleeing enemies, secure minion waves, or apply a small amount of damage and a slow during skirmishes, but be mindful of its mana cost to ensure you have enough resources for critical engagements.
