How to itemise Silvanna and, more importantly, why each item earns its slot.

Overview

Why this build works on Silvanna

Silvanna thrives on locking down individual targets with Imperial Justice and melting them using Spiral Strangling. However, her kit requires high Attack Speed to increase the spin count of Spiral Strangling and relies heavily on surviving while standing rooted inside her ultimate circle. This build solves her dual reliance on Magic Power and Attack Speed while reinforcing her defensive sustain. By converting Attack Speed directly into additional skill hits and stacking Magic Power for massive shields, Silvanna transforms from a fragile duelist into an aggressive EXP Lane initiator who can lock down priority targets, continuously shred magic resistance via Knightess Resolve, and comfortably out-sustain enemy counterattacks.

Item by item

Magic Boots

Early

Magic Boots provide early cooldown reduction, allowing Silvanna to cast Cometic Lance and Spiral Strangling far more frequently during initial laning phase trades. Shortening her spell loops makes it easier to stack her Knightess Resolve passive onto enemy heroes before committing with her ultimate. This mobility and skill availability help her control early Turtle contests and execute quick, aggressive trades in the EXP Lane.

Feather of Heaven is fundamental for Silvanna because its bonus Attack Speed directly increases the spin count of Spiral Strangling, while its passive adds extra Magic Damage to her Basic Attacks. Since Imperial Justice grants additional Attack Speed inside the Circle of Light, combining this item with her passive Knightess Resolve allows her to rapidly apply defense-reducing marks and execute locked enemies before they can escape.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Affliction: Basic Attacks deal extra Magic Damage equal to 50 plus 30% of the hero's Magic Power.

Concentrated Energy grants continuous Magic Power stacks whenever Silvanna deals damage, amplifying her Magic Damage output after trapping enemies with Imperial Justice. The item synergizes seamlessly with Spiral Strangling multi-hits, quickly maxing out damage bonuses. Combined with the Lifesteal granted inside her ultimate, this gives Silvanna immense health regeneration during long duels, allowing her to comfortably survive focused enemy retaliation while spinning through target defenses.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Recharge: Increases Magic Power by 5 after dealing Magic Damage (this effect stacks up to 6 times and can only gain 1 stack every 0.4s). When reaching full stacks, increases Magic Damage by 12% for 3s.

Oracle

Late

Oracle significantly enhances both the shield generated by Spiral Strangling and the inherent Lifesteal provided within Imperial Justice. Because Silvanna must stand her ground inside her ultimate area to deal maximum damage, increasing her incoming shield and healing effects ensures she remains alive against burst damage. It turns her into a formidable frontline initiator capable of absorbing heavy damage during teamfights near late-game objectives like the Lord.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Bless: Received Shield and HP Regen effects are increased by 30%.

Blood Wings provides a massive boost to Magic Power, which scales all of Silvanna abilities, especially the shield from Spiral Strangling and the leap damage of Imperial Justice. The substantial passive shield granted by Blood Wings gives her the extra bulk required to dive deep into enemy backlines without dying instantly, while the bonus movement speed helps her position to land hits with Cometic Lance.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Guard: Gains a shield equal to 200% of Magic Power. The shield will regenerate 20s after being damaged, and grants 30 Movement Speed while it lasts.

Immortality

Situational

Immortality serves as a safety net when Silvanna is forced to initiate risky teamfights with Imperial Justice. If enemy heroes focus her down while trapped in her ultimate, the revive effect gives her a second chance to cast Cometic Lance for a quick stun or restart her Spiral Strangling. It secures late-game engagements where a single mistake could result in an extended death timer.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Immortal: Revives 2.5s after death, gaining 16% Max HP and a 220-1200 shield (scales with level) that lasts 3s (210s cooldown).

Adapting the build

No build survives every draft. These are the situations where the order above should change.

When the enemy team possesses high burst damage and focuses you inside Imperial Justice

Prioritise building Oracle right after Concentrated Energy before completing offensive items like Blood Wings. Enhancing the shield from Spiral Strangling and boosting the Lifesteal from her ultimate keeps Silvanna healthy enough to endure initial enemy burst, ensuring she survives long enough to complete her full attack combo.

When your team lacks a primary initiator and needs immediate survival after diving

Delay Blood Wings in favor of an earlier Immortality as your fifth item. Since leaping in with Imperial Justice makes Silvanna the main focus of enemy crowd control, having the revive passive guarantees that your initiation will force out key enemy abilities without resulting in an immediate death.

When dominating the lane early and aiming to maximize damage output

Rush Feather of Heaven before completing your defensive choices. The rapid Attack Speed boost immediately scales Spiral Strangling spin counts, letting you quickly trigger max stacks of Knightess Resolve passive and erase your opponent under the restraint of Imperial Justice.
