How to itemise Lesley and, more importantly, why each item earns its slot.

Overview

Why this build works on Lesley

Lesley relies on poke damage using her passive, Lethal Shot, which turns her enhanced attacks into True Damage while scaling heavily with Physical Attack and critical strikes. Because her kit relies on weaving abilities like Master of Camouflage to instantly trigger Lethal Shot, she does not play like traditional attack-speed marksmen. Instead, this build maximizes single-hit burst damage and energy uptime. Equipping high Physical Attack items amplifies both her True Damage conversion and the executing power of Ultimate Snipe on low-health targets. By combining flat burst bonuses with True Damage procs, Lesley can harass safely from stealth, chunking squishy targets and finishing off escaping enemies with ease.

Magic Boots

Early

Magic Boots provides early mobility to aid Lesley while laning in the Gold Lane, allowing her to reposition quickly during Master of Camouflage. The cooldown reduction lets her cycle her skills more frequently, which directly translates into more frequent Lethal Shot passive procs and better energy management. Finishing boots early ensures she can maintain proper spacing against aggressive lane opponents and rotate effectively toward early team fights around the Turtle.

Blade of the Heptaseas perfectly synergizes with Lesley's hit-and-run playstyle. Its passive Ambush triggers when entering combat after remaining unseen, adding bonus Physical Damage and a slow to her initial strike. When combined with Master of Camouflage and Lethal Shot, Lesley delivers massive opening burst from range. This slow prevents targets from escaping her follow-up attacks or Ultimate Snipe, establishing early lane dominance.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Ambush: If no damage is taken or dealt within 5s (excluding from Minions or Creeps), the next Basic Attack will deal an additional 160 Physical Damage and slow the target by 40% for 1.5s.

Endless Battle is a fundamental item for Lesley because its passive Divine Justice converts skill usage into additional True Damage on her next attack. Since casting Master of Camouflage or Tactical Grenade instantly refreshes Lethal Shot, every skill cast becomes a devastating double True Damage burst. The extra Physical Attack further inflates her damage conversion, while the energy sustain keeps her active in prolonged skirmishes without constantly retreating.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Divine Justice: After casting a skill, the next Basic Attack within 3s deals 60% Physical Attack as extra True Damage (1.5s cooldown).

Berserker's Fury elevates Lesley's critical strike capabilities significantly. Its passive Doom boosts her overall Physical Attack whenever she scores a critical strike, which directly enhances the True Damage output of Lethal Shot. Combined with the innate critical chance bonus from Ultimate Snipe, this item ensures her enhanced basic attacks consistently land devastating critical hits that melt both squishy heroes and durable frontline tanks.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Doom: Critical strikes grant 5% extra Physical Attack for 2s.

Blade of Despair provides the massive Physical Attack required to max out Lesley's passive True Damage conversion. Its Despair passive grants additional Physical Attack against low-health enemies, turning her into an unstoppable executioner. This bonus activates before damage resolves, drastically increasing the execution threshold of Ultimate Snipe and guaranteeing that wounded targets caught in her sights are eliminated before reaching safety.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Despair: Dealing damage to non-Minion enemies below 50% HP increases Physical Attack by 25% for 2s (takes effect before the damage is dealt).

Windtalker

Situational

Windtalker offers late-game utility by granting movement speed and additional area damage through Typhoon. The extra mobility enhances her positioning while in Master of Camouflage, making her harder to catch. Since Typhoon can critically strike, it spreads extra burst damage to nearby enemies during chaotic team fights, allowing Lesley to clear minion waves rapidly or poke clustered enemies from long range.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Typhoon: Every 5-2s (reduced by 0.2s for each Basic Attack), the next Basic Attack will hit up to 3 enemy units for 150-362 Magic Damage. (This attack can Crit and the damage increases to 200% against Minions.)

Adapting the build

No build survives every draft. These are the situations where the order above should change.

When facing heavy frontline tanks in the late game

Prioritize finishing Blade of Despair and Berserker's Fury earlier in your sequence. The extreme Physical Attack scaling heavily boosts Lethal Shot's True Damage, completely bypassing armor so you can melt sturdy enemies from maximum range without getting caught in close-range skirmishes.

When constantly targeted by aggressive enemy assassins

Rush Endless Battle right after Magic Boots before completing purely offensive items. The immediate True Damage burst allows you to win quick trade attempts, while Tactical Grenade provides crucial knockback utility to interrupt diving threats and reposition safely while maintaining energy levels.

When needing faster wave clear and map rotations

Build Windtalker earlier in the item order right after Endless Battle. The additional movement speed stacks with Master of Camouflage to let you roam between lanes rapidly, while the magic damage bounces help clear incoming minion pushes before rotating to assist teammates near map objectives like the Lord.
