How to itemise Eudora and, more importantly, why each item earns its slot.

Overview

Why this build works on Eudora

Eudora relies on single-target pick-offs and immediate area burst through her Superconductor passive, which enhances her skills when chained together. Because she lacks mobility and sustained damage, her kit demands high flat penetration and massive Magic Power early on to guarantee single-combo kills with Ball Lightning into Thunder's Wrath and Forked Lightning. This build focuses on maximizing her early magic penetration and burst scaling so she can delete enemy heroes out of bushes before they can react. Later items ensure her combo still destroys targets who stack Magic Defense, turning her into a constant lethal threat during rotations around map objectives like the Turtle and Lord.

Item by item

Arcane Boots

Early

Early movement speed allows Eudora to rotate between lanes and catch unsuspecting targets from bushes. The early Magic Penetration works directly alongside Ball Lightning and Forked Lightning, allowing her to deal near-true damage against squishy targets in early skirmishes. Once completed, Eudora can effectively secure early kills during ganks and contest map objectives like the Turtle with her team.

Genius Wand

Early

This item synergizes perfectly with Ball Lightning, which already reduces the target's Magic Defense. Applying Magic Damage stacks additional defense reduction, enabling Forked Lightning and Thunder's Wrath to hit with terrifying force. Completing Genius Wand drastically lowers the enemy's resilience, transforming Eudora into a lethal ambush mage who can wipe out squishy carries in a single quick spell sequence.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Magic: Dealing Magic Damage to enemy heroes will reduce their Magic Defense by 3-7 (scales with level) for 2s. Stacks up to 3 times.

Amplifies Eudora's burst combo by adding an extra burst of Magic Damage whenever her skills hit an enemy. When combined with the bounce mechanic of Ball Lightning or the area effect of Thunder's Wrath on targets with Superconductor, the bonus area damage hits multiple foes hard. The extra movement speed helps her safely reposition after dumping her full spell rotation on priority targets.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Resonate: Every 6s, the next skill that deals damage will resonate, dealing Magic Damage equal to 120% Magic Power against up to 3 enemies and increasing Movement Speed by 30% that decays over 2s.

Exponentially boosts Eudora's overall Magic Power, heavily augmenting the high scaling on Forked Lightning and both strikes of Thunder's Wrath. Once acquired, her full burst becomes capable of deleting even moderately bulky enemies instantly. This item cements her mid-to-late game threat level, ensuring that any target hit by Ball Lightning will succumb to her follow-up storm.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Mystery: Gains 21%-35% extra Magic Power (scales with level).

Essential in the late game when opponents build Magic Defense items to survive her initial burst. Divine Glaive scales its penetration based on the enemy's total defense, ensuring Thunder's Wrath and Forked Lightning bypass heavy resistance. Finishing this item keeps her combo lethal against tanks and fighters during critical late-game clashes over the Lord.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Spellbreaker: When attacking an enemy, gains 0.1% extra Magic Penetration for each point of the enemy's Magic Defense, capped at 20%.

Fleeting Time

Situational

Decreases the current cooldown of Thunder's Wrath upon earning kills or assists. Since Eudora relies entirely on her ultimate to secure high-priority eliminations, this item allows her to cast her main burst ability much more frequently in extended teamfights. It ensures she can immediately execute another target after a successful bush ambush.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Timestream: Hero kills or assists reduce the Ultimate's current cooldown by 30%.

Adapting the build

No build survives every draft. These are the situations where the order above should change.

When enemies begin stacking heavy Magic Defense early

Prioritize Divine Glaive immediately after Genius Wand rather than waiting for late game. This ensures her Superconductor combo with Ball Lightning and Thunder's Wrath retains its magic-shredding capability against frontline tanks contesting the Turtle, allowing her to maintain kill pressure even against resilient opponents.

When teamfights break out frequently around objectives

Build Fleeting Time earlier in place of late-game scaling items. Reducing the current cooldown of Thunder's Wrath on every kill or assist allows Eudora to consistently unleash her full burst combo during back-to-back fights for the Lord, ensuring her ultimate is ready for every crucial engagement.

When snowballing hard in the early game

Rush Holy Crystal straight after Genius Wand to maximize raw Magic Power scaling. This magnifies the extra damage on Superconductor targets, allowing Forked Lightning and Thunder's Wrath to one-shot backline heroes without even needing her full spell sequence, accelerating your team's momentum across the map.
